Founder: Bret Faszholz​

Bret is a native Texan and grew up in Houston's Highland Village neighborhood, graduating from the University of Houston with a BA in Communication. He relocated to New York City in 1999 to continue his advertising career, working at the industry's top-awarded advertising and digital agencies on some of the world's most iconic brands.

In 2002, he began investing in real estate in Manhattan while working full-time, eventually buying, flipping and selling over $6MM in personal real estate. His real estate investing journey was featured in The New York Times.
He continues to work in the advertising industry and in 2017 relocated to Miami to join a global brand's in-house marketing team.
His love of Texas and real estate inspired him to invest in the Lone Star state, and to launch TXNY Investments, LLC in early 2016.
After six years holding a portfolio of single family rentals, in late 2021 he sold the entire portfolio and acquired a new construction, triple net leased commercial property further broadening his real estate experience.
